The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is permitted on this occasion.

Somerset Council Parish of Doulting

Temporary Closure of Prestleigh Hill

 

 

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along;

Prestleigh Hill – from the junction with Prestleigh Lane, southwards for a total distance of 388 metres.

 

This Order will enable Sir Robert McAlpine to carry out reconstruction of the highway.

 

The Order becomes effective on 23rd November 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th November 2023 and last until 8th December 2023 between the hours of 18:00 – 23:00 for a total of 11 evenings.
