Street Beat Team would like to reassure local residents that despite the number of posts on social media recently, in relation to the number of dog thefts allegedly taking place in the Street/ Walton/ Glastonbury and surrounding areas, Street Beat Team would like to re-assure resident’s that we have had no such reports or crimes recorded of any dog theft.

Whilst it is always good to remain vigilant, we would ask residents to not believe everything they read on social media but if they do see any suspicious incidents taking place, then we would urge residents to report the matter at the time of the incident on the 101 number, or if the crime is in progress, then 999 should be used.
